Applications are invited from eligible and qualified persons for filling up the post of Assistant Professor in various disciplines detailed below to work in the Arts & Science Colleges functioning under the aegis of this society.

Assistant Professor : 38 (UR-22, OBC-10, SC-06)

Scale of Pay : PB-Ill Rs.15600 -39100 + AG? Rs.6000/ 

Qualifications : i. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University.

ii. Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CS1R or the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry Joint State Level Eligibility Test or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub -clauses (i) and (ii) above,candidates, who have been awarded a Ph. I). Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2010, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET

iv. NET/SLET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET is not conducted. 

Note; The good academic record means a minimum of 50% marks in each of the public examinations beginning 12*grade/standard.

The candidates are required to submit their applications as per the Proforma given below, neatly typed out in a foolscap paper and filled up in his/her own handwriting along with the copies of certificates, namely caste, category, age, statement of marks from IISC onwards.degree certificates, relevant testimonials etc., self attested and a Non-refundable remittance in the form of Demand Draft drawn IN A NATIONALISED BANK in favour of the 'MEMBER SECRETARY, PONSHE" payable at Puducherry amounting to Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only). Candidates claiming to belong to Scheduled caste (Caste Certificate to be enclosed) may make a remittance amounting to Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) in the form of Demand Draft as detailed above.
